Prout Catamarans and Yacht Depot, Ltd., recently unveiled their newest model, the Prout 55, dubbed the “Ultimate Charter Yacht” because it promises to bring an extraordinary financial return to the owner. This totally re-designed sailing catamaran can also be ordered in a PowerCat version and comes with a unique six stateroom, six head layout that optimizes the charterer's ability carry the largest number of passengers in this class of yacht. So, the total charter cost-per-person is lower than on any other similar yacht. Because of this low cost-per-person, charter demand is expected by several charter managers to exceed 35 weeks per year and this will create an extraordinary return on investment for the P-55 yacht owner. The new design also features all the latest, greatest design-elements such as panoramic salon windows which give an expansive, open feeling and create a light, bright interior space. We are building this Prout model and other new sailing and PowerCat models in the Far East and they can build to CE, ABS or Lloyds specs for up to 30% less than similar quality European builders. Present sailing catamaran models under construction or planned to start soon are the P-45, P-50, P-55, P-60, P-63, P-69, P-72, P-77, P-80, P-90 and P-100. In the PowerCat lineup they have the G-55, G-60, G-72 TrawlerCats. Our SLY PowerCat series is designed for higher speeds. These are the SLY 53, 56, 60, 65E, 75C, 98C and HySuCat carbon fiber hydrofoils. Prout also builds day-charter catamarans in sailing and power versions in a 60', a 72' and an 80' hull as well as high-speed ferries.
